This course, certified by PI PROFIBUS/PROFINET International, contains all the technology information for network design, components, commissioning procedure up to trouble shooting. The course will end with an theoretical and practical exam.
Using the latest tools and specification, you will understand the network up to the protocol details, supported by hands on tasks.
ENDRESS+HAUSER PROFINET devices, SIEMENS TIA and many other manufacturer supports this vendor neutral learning experience.
The following content is covered in the theoretical part:
PROFIBUS organization and structure, Comparison between PROFIBUS DP/PA and PROFINET, wording in PROFINET.
Engineering phase: Network design, how to implement HART and PROFIBUS PA devices for process automation, grounding shielding backgrounds, components such as different type of switches and conformance classes.
Commissioning phase: Device driver and where do I get them, name assignment, MAC, IP-address, field device parameter settings.
Maintenance phase: SNMP, LLDP, PROFINET protocol details, start up procedure, network load, jitter, network quality report, device exchange procedure.
Learn how to design and commission and maintain a PROFINET network.
Understand the PROFINET technology details up to its protocol.
With help of Hands on tasks, the technology will be experienced in an understandable way.
Control and Instrumentation Engineers
Design and Planning Engineers
Service and Maintenance Engineers
Basic knowledge of computers, electronics and mathematics.
The training is internationally recognized and certified by the PI (PROFIBUS and PROFINET International) organization.
Participants are given time to work with the various components of a PROFINET network. We put emphasis on a balanced approach to theory and practice vendor-neutral instruction.
Mornings are spent learning the theoretical background, and afternoons with the actual components and integration of the field devices into the system. Almost half the course is spent giving you ample opportunity to use what you have learned in hands-on exercises.
A hands-on course, recognized in all industries
